Lori’s career began through Highlights Foundation with a scholarship to their Annual Chautauqua Writing Workshop in 2002. She wrote her first book right there that week under Chautauqua’s spell. “Super Sam” was taken by her reader, an editor at Charlesbridge, and was published in 2004. Currently, Lori has six books. She lives in Oregon with her husband
and children.
