Triple Forte is the name of the 15-year-old singing Mortensen triplets – Joshua, Jared and Karli. The trio is from Gilbert Arizona and enjoying singing together and making music with other artists as well.
The three have a YouTube channel where they have posted a few videos of them performing. The Mortensen triplets have said that they are influenced by Brad Paisley, Jordan Bluth, and Phillip Phillips. They started singing together at the early age of three, and by six they were members of the East Valley Millennial Choirs and Orchestra. They also had the opportunity to take voice lessons from Jordan Bluth, an award-winning tenor. In 2013 the Mortensens started singing with the Inspire Youth Choir.
Of course, each of the triplets enjoy other hobbies besides music. Jared loves acting and playing sports like soccer and basketball. Josh enjoys writing songs, acting, playing the piano, and taught himself how to play the ukulele. Josh was also born with hearing loss and had to have a corrective surgery when he was 2 1/2. The surgery was successful and corrected 95% of his hearing. Besides singing with her brothers, Karli is also a solo performer. She’s released a cover of “Peter Pan” by Kelsea Ballerini and has appeared in several school productions.
In 2014 Triple Forte sang the National Anthem for the Gilbert Arizona Constitution Fair.
