“I started drawing my own comics when I was in high school, photocopied 8 x 11″ pages stapled together for my friends. From there, I moved on to doing a regular comic strip for our college newspaper at Southern Utah University. That’s where Thunderbird started, and because the Thunderbird is also the mascot of the college. In 1994 I submitted a Thunderbird story to Newcomers Publishing, and then started doing a regular b&w bimonthly Thunderbird title. This original run lasted for two years and eight issues.”
