Kimberly Maycock and Monica Scott collaborate tonight, September 15th, at the Brigham City Tabernacle for a magical night of music. The concert, “Of Love & Dreams,” will begin at 8 PM and is free to the public. Today’s performance will feature a variety of music, including Disney, classical, show tunes and original compositions.
Kimberly is a Weber State University alumnus with an Associate of Science Degree in Registered Nursing. Before earning that degree, she studied Vocal Performance for two years at Utah State University. She has found ways to incorporate her love of music into her work as a geriatric nurse by singing to her elderly patients. She is also a wife and mother of two children. Their young family lives in Gilbert, Arizona.
Kimberly met with Monica at the suggestion of Jason Lyle Black. They immediately hit it off. As “mommy musicians,” neighbors and now friends, they enjoy creating uplifting musical harmonies and sharing their talent with the rest of the world.
Monica grew up in a musical family and has played both the violin and the piano since an early age. She studied piano at Carmen Hall and Brigham Young University. She graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s in Music. Her hobby is arranging sacred hymns and has samples of her tracks on yourldsmusicstore.com, cdbaby.com, iTunes, and Amazon and Seagull Book Stores. She has four children.
