Singer Yahosh Bonner appeared on this week’s edition of Mormon Channel Studio. He sang an original song written by his brother as well as a rendition of “Savior, Redeemer of My Soul.”
Bonner comes from a musical family that has worked with Mormon Channel before. Music has become a way for him to share his testimony, and the song “Angels Over Me,” an original written by his brother, is a perfect example of that. The lyrics and music compliment each other and send an uplifting message of hope.
“…We should know that heaven is on our side,” Bonner said to Mormon Channel. “We have a Father in heaven that wants us to succeed, and he sends us angels to lift us up and bring us through tough times.”
Bonner also picked a favorite LDS song, “Savior, Redeemer of My Soul” to sing for the studio performance. He said it’s one of his favorites for its strong reminder and message about Christ and His divine purpose. Bonner performed both “Angels Over Me” and “Savior, Redeemer of My Soul” beautifully.
