SIX - Orchestra of Human VoicesSIX® is a powerhouse a cappella group comprised of six of ten real brothers — Lynn, Owen, Berry, Jack, Curtis, and Charles Knudsen — who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The group, which is based in Branson, Missouri, does not use any instruments, but when they perform it sounds like there is a band on stage performing right along with them. Since 2020, they have been pleased to call Dick Clark’s American Bandstand theater their home.

Their official website proclaims that the members of the group are “True pioneers of contemporary a cappella, [utilizing] the palpable rhythmic bass, driving beatbox style percussion, and impeccable vocal blend that they’ve been developing since they were children.” It is no small wonder that the group has been critically acclaimed and dubbed “an orchestra of human voices” and “masters of showmanship.”

SIX - A Cappella - Branson MissouriSIX® performs a variety of genres, delighting audiences of all ages. Since taking Branson by storm in the Fall of 2006, the group has received repeated accolades such as “Best Show,” “Entertainers of the Year,” “Vocal Group of the Year,” and many more.

The brothers began singing at an early age in church and for community events. After serving as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they decided to launch their professional career. The time that they spent in Los Angeles, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada, performing helped to open doors of opportunity. Soon they went from being unknown in the music industry, singing on the streets of Los Angeles, to performing at A-list Hollywood parties for people such as Arnold Schwarzenneger and Clint Eastwood.

SIX - Powerhouse A CappellaIn 1978, the brothers made their television debut on the Osmond Brothers Special where they got to share the stage with singing legends Bob Hope, Crystal Gayle, and Andy Gibb. In 1988, they began performing at Disneyland’s Blast to the Past, all the while developing their repertoire which allowed them to eventually get better paying engagements. By 1995, they were able to support themselves completely with their professional singing and began headlining sold-out venues.

The Power of SIXIn their career, SIX® has been blessed and honored to share the stage with star performers like Trisha Yearwood, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Olivia Newton John, the Beach Boys, and the Doobie Brothers, to name but a few. Since 1998, they have been performing for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. They have also achieved great success in Branson, Missouri, being awarded Branson’s Best New Show in 2007 and Best Show of both 2008 and 2009. And they have now performed for countless fans worldwide with songs of popular artists. They always end each performance on a spiritual note.
