In 1986 his coach described him as “as our best pure cover man because of his speed and quickness.” He will be remembered most for his pure flat out speed at right corner. He was nicknamed “Bird” because his playing weight was a slight 160 pounds. He was named specialty team captain in the mid 1980’s He played for the Los Angeles Raiders as Number 21 from 1987 to 1989. He joined the Church in 2002. |
